Living Life Gracefully!

Happy Wednesday guys!

I thought to myself, I’ve explained why I wanted to start a blog, I explained my journey but I’m yet to explain my name. So I thought, today I’ll briefly explain why I decided to call my blog “Living Life Gracefully”. Other than Grace being a name ( my name), it also specifically speaks more about the “Grace of God”. As abstract as it sounds, I didn’t understand this concept fully until recently. The bible says in Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”. To me Gods saving grace is what preserves me, by simply living my faith we are showing our gratitude for the salvation of God. Without Gods grace I personally wouldn’t be who I am today. Putting this into context, I decided that I wanted to live my life remembering Gods saving Grace hence “Living Life Gracefully” - I wanted to be able to live life with a purpose and helping people in any way I would (extending Gods love for me to others) More than anything it’s an aspiration that I intended to pursue as I grow in faith! Therefore as I aim to live life gracefully, I hoped I could bring others on my journey too!

Secondly, I just wanted to explain what type of content I’ll be bring out till the end of 2018. After seeking feedback from a few of my friends, I decided that i’ll be doing a segment entitled “Big Questions”.

I understand that Christianity is a religion that can be easily misunderstood, especially with the emergence of a secular society, hence I decided to cease the opportunity (me having the blog), to use it as a platform in which people can ask questions about Christianity and other religious topics. For example, “How is the concept of evil and suffering compatible with the idea of an all-loving God”. I struggle myself to understand such abstract concepts, so I figured it would be useful for people of faith and simply people who are curious about Christianity to have a platform in which they feel comfortable sharing their opinions and asking questions. I’m a strong believer that conversion doesn’t occur through one being radical or by me imposing my beliefs onto others hence I just wanted to share my opinion (in a loving way), hoping that others could possibly provide their own opinions too in order for us to answer these difficult questions together.
