A poem to my Valentine..

Happy new month everyone & Happy Valentine’s Day! I’ve never been one to celebrate Valentine’s Day but the last year has showed me to show love and gratitude to my loved ones as much as I can because every day, every moment and literally every second is a blessing that shouldn’t be taken for granted & it‘s so amazing we get to do life with everyone that we do it with. So I wrote a little something to the most important person in my life, not because it’s Valentine’s Day but because I often forget how much they love me so this is just a reminder of how much I love him and how much there is to love and be grateful for because he literally does everything for me!

Thought I might as well write a love poem in the spirt of Valentines Day! So here it is:

It’s only in your eyes that my heart comes alive, when I stare into those beautiful eyes I am suddenly brought to life. The moment I met you, it was perfect love realised. The moment we stand face to face, I realise nothing in this world could ever satisfy. This is why I love you, this is why I need you. You’re the only constant in my life, though my world may fail I’ll never let you go. Your loves too good to leave me here. This is why if you want my heart, I won’t second guess. My heart is yours and only yours. It’s only your love that I want, I have searched and searched through all the earth, searched and searched all other the earth and there is none like you. You’re one of a kind, the moment that we saw face to face my life changed. You lit up my life. There’s no shadow you won’t light up. There’s no mountain you wouldn’t climb up just to come after me. You’re a light that never stops shining and I can’t get enough of you. Your presence is heaven to me. Every time we spend time together my life changes for the better, it can’t stay the same. Your love for me is so deep, it’s so vast beyond all measures. If I have any trials, I come to you. If I have any troubles I come to you. You’re my most faithful friend, the friend in which I can share all my sorrows with. I just wanted to say to you on this day, I’m in and I’m yours. It’s this love that keeps me here, that sustains me. So I want to start loving you with all my actions not just my words. This is why I give you my heart, I give you my soul. It’s my desire to get to know you more. I want to give you more, I want to give my best to you. I want to do everything you ask me to. Just because you first loved me. So thank you for loving me first, when you had no reason to. Everyday you show this overwhelming, never ending love.Your love is too kind, it’s too patient, you just continue to fill my heart. You give me so much peace, so much joy. Every time I’m with you, I feel brand new. You’re genuinely too amazing, you have the most beautiful name, nothing could ever compare to it.Wow what a beautiful name you have. My heart cries, my bones sing your name. You give me life, you give me love. I said this before but you genuinely bring light to the darkness, you give me hope and you restore my broken heart. You are Great. Your breath is really in my lungs. This is why I only want you to lead me where my trust is without borders, I just want to walk upon the water with you, I want to go wherever you want to call me and I just want to be made stronger in you. In your love, why? Because your love won’t let me down. I give my everything to you, I withhold nothing from you. I give myself away to you. This is why I know this is real love. You’re all together lovely, you’re all together worthy and you’re the most wonderful thing to me. I know that is real love.

So unfortunately no mcm for now, JC got my heart all day everyday! I just felt like this was a really good way to start off my Feb series of “Love”. I can’t even reiterate how much love is my fav Christian topic ever because it just keeps growing and I get deeper understandings and revelations of the love God has for us as the day’s go on & I believe its the most important characteristic me as a Christian could ever obtain as from love all else flows out!
